Bemis Introduces Universal Fit Toilet Seat

Bemis, a manufacturer of quality bathroom products, has announced the launch of its Universal Fit toilet seat. New to the industry and recently awarded a Reviewed KBIS 2025 Award, the Universal Fit is the first traditional toilet seat engineered and designed to fit both standard round and elongated toilet bowls.

Universal Fit arrives as more plumbers and installers seek convenience on the job. Before, if a customer unexpectedly requested to change their toilet seat and the professional installer didn’t have the right size, they’d have to leave the jobsite, purchase the seat, then return to finish the job — a long process that took time away from their other jobs. Universal Fit solves this problem by being a seat that can fit any standard toilet bowl, whether round or elongated, saving time and money in inventory for professional installers.

One of Universal Fit’s features is Bemis’ patented Stay·Tite Seat Fastening System, which allows the toilet seat to stay secure to the bowl without shifting or wiggling. Additionally, its Whisper·Close hinge enables the seat to close slowly and quietly, allowing users to avoid disturbing others. The hinge is designed with extreme adjustability, allowing the seat to fit standard round and elongated toilets.
