Donated Concrete Work Fosters Accessibility on Housing Project for Disabled Homeless Veterans

RAM Pavement has completed a project with Purple Heart Homes and 5th Street Ministries, providing transitional housing for service-related disabled veterans in Charolotte, North Carolina. RAM Pavement donated the concrete work to provide ADA accessibility, including the concrete pads, parking, sidewalks and curbing for this new, tiny-home community.

RAM Pavement Donates Concrete Work for Housing that Helps Disabled Veterans Transition from Homelessness to Security

Purple Heart Homes’ mission is to provide quality-of-life housing solutions for service-connected disabled veterans. With the support of 5th Street Ministries, it is a stepping stone for veterans to move from homelessness to housing, providing the physical security and stability in tiny homes and transition into the quality of life they want to have.

“It makes a big impact on our team when we can do work that helps the community and tells our veterans that their lives matter,” said Rob Miller, president, RAM Pavement.
