Habitat Northeast Michigan Receives Grant for Aging-in-Place Program

Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan has received a $5,517 grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund to support its Home Plus Aging in Place Program.

Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Ted Fines said the funds would be used to advance both housing and healthy equity for our older seniors in Northeast Michigan.

“By this financial support, our Habitat affiliate will help more older adults in our community age in place,” Fines said.
